Confidentiality:
A juvenile or adult being tried in this court charged with committing a criminal act or traffic infraction has the right to a public trial; this right may, however, be given up in favor of a trial that is closed to the public. All other trials are closed to the public. Court reports and records are open only to those specifically permitted by law to have such access. Court officials or others who violate this confidentiality requirement are subject to criminal penalties.
