Danny was elected as Dickenson County Treasurer on November 6, 2007 and assumed office on January 1, 2008. He is the son of the late Curtis Edwards and Delores V. Edwards and the grandson of the late Grover and Minnie Hess Gibson and Bruce and Aily Edwards. He has been a Dickenson County resident for over fifty-six years and currently resides in the Flemingtown section of Clintwood. He graduated from UVA-Wise College (formerly Clinch Valley College) in May 1970 with a B.A. degree. Danny retired from Dickenson County Department of Social Service after thirty-seven years to persue election to the Office of the Treasurer. Danny has two sons, Daniel, age 29 and Philip, age 24. Danny has been a member of Lions Clubs International for ten plus years and is a curent member of the Dickenson County Chamber of Commerce and the American Red Cross. He is a former Kiwanian and served many years as a firefighter with the Clintwood Fire Department. Current leisure interests include fishing, hunting, gardening and keeping honey bees. |

Ron Triplett is a graduate of Clintwood High School, Southwest Virginia Community College, East Tennessee State University and University of Virginia. During high school and college he worked at Clintwood Lumber in Clintwood for several years. Ron, the son of Mavis Kendrick Triplett and the late Earl Triplett, was raised in Clintwood, Virginia. He is married to Janice Butler Triplett who is employed as a Speech/Language Pathologist for the Wise County, Virginia Public Schools. Ron began working in the treasurer’s office as an Accountant/Deputy Treasurer in July, 1979. He served as Interim Dickenson County Treasurer from July 1, 1999 thru December 31, 1999. He is a member of the Clintwood Baptist Church, the Clintwood Lions Club and has been involved in numerous other civic and community activities. |

Stephanie Mullins is a graduate of Ervinton High School and attended Clinch Valley College. Stephanie began working in the treasurer's office part-time in July, 1994 while attending college. Stephanie was sworn in as a Deputy Treasurer in October, 1998. Stephanie, the daughter of Raben and Donna Meade Fletcher, was raised in the Rose Ridge Community of Dickenson County, Virginia. She is married to Bradley Scott Mullins. |

Vivian Austin is a graduate of Ervinton High School. Vivian began working in the treasurer's office in 1973. Vivian, the daughter of the late Jasper and London Rose, was raised in the Stratton Community of Dickenson county, Virginia. She is married to Stanley Ronald Austin who is employed in the coal mining industry. |

Angela Rakes is a graduate of Haysi High School. Angela began working in the treasurer's office October 1, 1997 as an Office Assistant. She was sworn in as a Deputy Treasurer in May of 1999. Angela, the daughter of Lee Charles and Nina Delaney, was raised on Davis Ridge in Dickenson County. She is married to Chris Rakes of Tarpon.. They have one daughter, Kristy Rakes • Gloria Brooks, Office Assistant Gloria Brooks is a graduate of Haysi High School and attended SVCC for 3 years. She started working in the Treasurers Office on September 25, 2005 as a part time Office Assistant. She is the daughter of Furrell and Pearl Lyall, and was rasied on Edwards Ridge. She is married to Danny Brooks who is employed with Paramont Coal Co. as a Loader Operator. They have 3 children, Tanner, Kalianna, and Keirstyn. |
